The fist Impressionist exhibition was held 150 years ago, in 1874. To commemorate this fact the Musée d'Orsay looks back at this crucial date in art history and compares work by the first generation of leading Impressionists. Some 130 paintings are on display, which includes work by Monet, Renoir, Degas, Berthe Morisot (pictured) and others.
