A comprehensive overview of the Danish Golden Age of painting, covering roughly the years 1800-1864. Work is included by all the main exponents of this versatile period of nordic art, including Eckersberg, Rørbye, Købke, Lundbye and Skovgaard (pictured). Following a successful first innings at the Nationalmuseum Stockholm, the exhibition now opens in Copenhagen and will conclude its journey at the Petit Palais Paris next year.
