A 3D exhibition tracing the way in which the fame in which the splendid Notre-Dame cathedral is today held is the result of a process of exaltation that began in the 19th century, not least due to Victor Hugo's 1831 novel featuring the unfortunate hunchback and the architectural embellishments of Viollet-le-Duc.
