The Austrian artist Carl Schuch (1846-1903) is still today a much-respected realist painter. This exhibition looks at the French influence of his work, which owed much to his stay in Paris between 1882-1894. Some 70 of his works are compared with paintings by Courbet, Corot, Manet and Monet.
