British Landscapes: a sense of place

The work of more than 60 British artists are on show, in an exhibition that looks at British landscapes as not only a geographical feature, but also a beacon of identity. Country lanes and chalk hills strike a chord and are deeply ingrained in British collective memory. The exhibition includes work by famous names like Gainsborough, but also less famous ones, like John Sell Cotman (featured).
